Minority Dealer Advisory Council

The Minority Dealer Advisory Council (MDAC) is a valued resource for getting the pulse of ethnic customers and representing GM minority dealer groups. Since (1988), the MDAC has been helping GM:

  • Increase the number of minority dealers
  • Attract African American, Asian, Hispanic and Native Americans into retail organizations as dealers and employees
  • Make dealership environments attractive to ethnic customers and employees
  • Ensure operational effectiveness of Minority dealerships

The MDAC’s role is to echo the voice of minority dealers and direct prioritized issues to the Dealer Executive Board and GM management. The Council focuses on the free exchange of ideas, beginning with open access to the highest levels of GM management.

The MDAC is focused on the following priorities in 2016:

  • Driving Profitability
  • Growing the Network of minority dealers
  • Improving Retail Sales Index (RSI) performance
